Background
Ana has been focusing on investing in software/technology and select healthcare businesses since 2019.
Prior to joining Cove Hill, Ana worked as a Principal at Hellman & Friedman (H&F) in San Francisco where she joined as an associate in 2019. She spent her time diligencing and working closely with management teams in software businesses across horizontal apps, vertical market software (e.g., EdTech, GovTech), and cybersecurity/infrastructure.
Prior to H&F, Ana worked at Goldman Sachs in New York as an investment banking analyst in the Healthcare Group and as an associate in the M&A Structuring Group.
Ana lives in Boston with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new foods, hosting friends & family, exercise/dancing, and traveling.

What is your go-to candy order at the movie theater?
Sour patch kids - in general I love anything sour (e.g., things with lots of lime, salt & vinegar) and love the texture of gummies (or similar desserts!)
What is your favorite thing to cook to impress guests? 
My husband is the master chef between us. Yet I consider myself a self-taught mixologist (still learning though!), which is a good combo for our dinner parties. One of the best cocktails I’ve made for friends paired with a home-cooked Thai meal was a Thai-inspired Mezcal Margarita using lots of lime, agave, Thai basil, and for those daring - Thai chilis.
Who is your biggest inspiration? 
My parents. They embody perseverance, being a good person, showing up for family & friends, and always expanding your mind. I admire their ability to juggle it all and leaning on family and community for support.

Education

Ana earned a BA in Global Affairs in Development, with Distinction, from Yale University. She received an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
