Background

Jennifer Baer has spent her career advising private equity investors and management teams on executive talent and leadership strategy. Before joining Cove Hill, Jennifer was a Partner in the CEO & Board Practice at True Search, where she led executive searches for private equity-backed companies and advised investors on leadership hiring and organizational strategy. Prior to True, she was a Consultant at The Miles Group, where she focused on CEO succession, executive assessment, and leadership coaching engagements. Prior to The Miles Group, she worked in portfolio talent at Cerberus Operations & Advisory Company. She began her career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Jennifer lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Get to Know Jennifer

What is your favorite Cove and Hill to travel to? Cove: I grew up going to the southern part of the Jersey Shore, and Sea Isle City holds a special place in my heart. My grandparents lived on a narrow part of the island with unobstructed views of the bay in the back and the ocean in the front. It's a magical place!
Hill: Lehigh University's campus was built into the side of a small mountain / large hill. I met my husband and many of my closest friends there. Fun fact: the inventor of the escalator (Jesse W. Reno) was a Lehigh graduate. He was inspired by all the treacherous stairs on campus!
What is your favorite thing to cook to impress guests? There is a great copycat recipe for Nobu's miso black cod. The recipe is quite simple, but you need to source sablefish and let it marinate for three days, so it requires some planning. Worth it!
What is one thing about you that I cannot Google? I performed in professional theater productions as a child. There were a handful of times I missed school because we had weekday matinees!
