What is one thing that people might be surprised to learn about you?
I love Korean food. You can get basically fantastic quality Korean anything in Koreatown Los Angeles, and some of my favorites are LA-style Galbi (beef short ribs), Sundubu-Jiggae (tofu soup), and Gamjatang (pork-bone stew).
What do you like to do in your free time outside of work?
I love both playing and watching sports. I grew up playing soccer & tennis, have been running for the last 6-years, and have newfound pickleball & golf addictions. I grew up a Cleveland sports fan, but I’ve also built up a love for LA sports since having lived here (LeBron playing in LA helps that).
What is your weirdest skill?
I’d like to think I’m pretty good at recognizing area codes for phone numbers. It started as a challenge at the end of 8th grade to see how long I could go without using contacts in my phone, and I kept it up for basically 8 years until graduating college. If I didn’t know a number, I’d just use the area code to narrow down who might be calling or texting.
Education
Kiran graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California (USC) with a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Operations Research
