Prior to joining Cove Hill, Silas completed an investment banking program at Piper Jaffray. He has also held economics research positions at Bowdoin College and Vanderbilt University, and worked in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Outside of work, Silas enjoys playing soccer, chess, and cheering on Nashville sports teams.

What is your favorite thing to cook to impress guests?
Pad Thai - one of three dishes I’m capable of cooking.
What is the best vacation you've ever taken?
Last year I went to Bath, Maine for the 4th of July. It’s very hard to beat Maine’s coast during the summer!
What is your favorite part about investing in software?
Software investing is a great window to learn about pockets of the world I’d otherwise know very little about! A bonus is that I love traveling – even when it’s for work.
Education
Silas graduated with an A.B. from Bowdoin College magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and with high honors in economics.
