Tim Daniels

Tim has spent the last decade building and advising companies, with a focus on the technology space.

Prior to joining Cove Hill, Tim was the CFO of OpsGenie, a SaaS company that provides an incident management platform for IT and developer teams. He joined the company shortly after its initial funding and helped to scale revenue 7x over two and a half years, with minimal cash burn. In addition to managing the company’s finance department, Tim focused heavily on go-to-market, working closely with sales and marketing teams to accelerate growth using a data-driven approach. OpsGenie's explosive growth led to a successful acquisition by Atlassian in 2018.

Before OpsGenie, Tim served as VP of Finance at Turbonomic, an enterprise software company that provides the leading Application Resource Management platform. During his time at Turbo, Tim was responsible for FP&A, growth strategy, and business operations, and he also served as interim lead of the sales development organization. Tim joined Turbo after working as a management consultant at Bain & Company, and he started his career as an analyst at Analysis Group, an economic and financial consulting firm.

Outside of the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and trying to keep up with his daughter. He loves to stay active and rarely turns down home improvement projects, despite limited capabilities in this area. He appreciates good food and rarely turns down dessert.
